Between our campsite in Anduze and the Haribo museum in Uzès, there are plenty of options for discovering the Gard region with your family. After visiting the surprising Bambouseraie and admiring the Gardons valley on the friendly steam train, enter the heart of the Cévennes and breathe in the fresh air. In this Unesco-listed area, walking enthusiasts are well catered for. It’s even possible to take a donkey out for a hike, which kids love!
The Trabuc and Chauvet caves await you for a cool, memorable family experience. And don’t forget to stroll through the region’s typical villages (Saint-Jean-du-Gard, Mialet, Navacelles, Sainte-Anastasie, Vézénobres…) or the lively towns of Alès, Nîmes and Arles. Another must-see not far from Uzès is the famous Pont du Gard, a veritable jewel of architecture and history!
